EDIE packed out the opening night of the Keswick film festival in England's Lake District. Simon Hunter the films director introduced the film and took part in a lively question and answer session afterwards. (there were many mountaineers in the audience!) Simon was later interviewed by Border television news. The festival has run for over twenty years and opens in the historic Alhambra cinema in Keswick. EDIE opens across the United Kingdom on May 25th.
EDIE has taken the Edinbugh international film festival by storm. Both screenings completely sold out within days. EDIE has subsequently been awarded "Best in Fest" selection which earns the movie another prime time sceeening. Mark Stothert producer commented "we are bowled over with the response to EDIE in Edinburgh. Our screenings were amongst the first to sell out and everyone just adores the movie. It's so gratifying. Another screening gives the public the chance to see one of the standout performances of the year. Sheila Hancock giving perhaps the finest performance of her career." YOU CAN BOOK TICKETS HERE
